MADRID, 17 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -
El rockero estadounidense Bruce Springsteen editará el próximo 4 de diciembre una caja de lujo con la reedición de su disco de 1980 'The River', que llegará con el título 'The ties that bind: The river collection' y abundante material inédito.
En total serán 54 canciones repartidas en 4 CDs, a los que acompañarán otros 3 DVDs con grabaciones en vivo de la época y un nuevo documental (dirigido por Thom Zimny) sobre la creación del álbum, uno de los más exitosos de Springsteen.
'The ties that bind: The river collection' incluirá el disco doble original, así como la primera publicación oficial del álbum en formato sencillo (tal y como fue inicialmente ideado, con las diez canciones que grabó en 1979 como continuación del 'Darkness on the edge of town' de 1978 y que nunca vio la luz).
La caja incluye también un CD con maquetas de estudio registradas entre 1979 y 1980 ('The River: Outtakes'), además de un doble DVD con un concierto nunca antes oficialmente editado de 1980 en Tempe (Arizona, Estados Unidos), y que dura 2 horas y 40 minutos.
La guinda la ponen las habituales imágenes de ensayos y un libro con 200 fotos y todo tipo de memorabilia de la época. Todo el contenido de esta lujosa reedición se puede consultar en la web oficial de Bruce Springsteen.
Coincidiendo con el anuncio del lanzamiento, el músico ha desvelado un tema inédito titulado 'Meet me in the city':
